The Setting
Gulland Orthodontics has been a fixture in Mercer County, Pennsylvania since 1990, with offices in both Hermitage and Greenville. One of the best parts of his job, according to Dr. G himself, is having the opportunity to treat successive generations of families in the community, with former patients now bringing their own children in for treatment. Many of their local dentists and physicians trust Dr. G for their family’s orthodontic care. Dr. G often says one of the best things he does is surround himself with good people. He is very proud of the team he has assembled, not only because of their skills but also because of the kindness and compassion they bring to his practice.

The Challenge
Based in a smalltown, it is not always easy to recognize the need for updated branding - especially if your reputation speaks for itself. However, their outdated website and lack of a cohesive brand and video would likely not attract the attention of newcomers in need of orthodontics. While welcoming in-person, the everyday individual may not be attracted to the services based solely on their online presence.

STRATEGY & SOLUTION
Our goal was to ensure anyone who came across this practice would feel comfortable and welcome to stop in for a visit. Together, we tapped into the longevity of Dr. G.’s practice and focused on connecting not only the Mercer County community but also the generations of individuals with whom he has worked. In order to showcase this, we created a Brand Guide focused on a new look: mid-century modern with a touch of flair. The new elements, logo, and photo filters encapsulate the steadfastness of the brand throughout their office space, website, and social media. Additionally, we filmed a brand video highlighting real patients which excited the town to join in the fun.
